Materials & Quoting Reliability Overhaul

New Features

  • Redesigned Job Progress & Production Board

The job detail and production board views have been overhauled with a new progress redesign including visual phase bars, updated part routing indicators, and a revised files and routing panel for a clearer, more intuitive shop-floor experience.

Bug Fixes

  • "Rates Have Changed" alert no longer triggers on insignificant price differences

The quote rate refresh warning was incorrectly firing when material or operation rates differed by less than one cent. This false alarm has been suppressed so operators are only notified about meaningful rate changes.

  • Archived materials no longer ghost on parts

Parts were continuing to display a material even after its taxonomy rows were archived. Materials now correctly clear when their underlying data is removed.

  • Material details now save reliably

Category and specification save failures that were silently swallowed when permissions data was incomplete will now surface a proper error message to the user.

  • Quote creation no longer gets stuck

The new quote page could dead-end if a cached quote number was stale or if fetching a new quote number failed silently. Both cases now recover gracefully.

  • Exchange rates now load correctly in cost calculations

A mapping issue meant that material breadcrumb information wasn't being passed through to cost calculations. FX rates are also now served from cache as intended, improving speed and reliability.

  • RFQ quotes no longer disappear mid-session

Under certain conditions, working with spec groupings on an RFQ could wipe out quotes belonging to other specs in the same session. This has been resolved.

  • Authentication edge case no longer leaves screens blank

A rare timing issue during login could leave certain components in a broken state. Affected components now recover automatically.
